Manufacturing Engineer

Works on plans to utilize personnel, facilities, machinery and equipment to safely achieve the desired quality and quantity of production at the most favorable cost. Solves technical problems associated with the facilities and machines used in the manufacturing process. Develops and implements recommendations for process improvements, and provides support to design engineering to release new products to manufacturing. Develops and improves production processes, including cost reduction, faster throughput, improved safety, and higher quality utilizing optimal manufacturing technologies including, but not limited to, automation, robotics, and new manufacturing processes. Maintains process documentation, prepares cost estimates, and provides support to the production and quality functions.


Requires bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Management, with two or more years of related manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in a high tech machining environment, manufacturing and process improvement is a definite plus. Requires excellent computer skills, excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and demands. Must also have effective interpersonal and communication skills, including a team orientation.
